A working man's voice for Texas.

I'm from East Texas, born and raised, and I didn't grow up with money. I wore Goodwill clothes while my father, a veteran, worked to keep a roof over our family. I'm a working man, not a silver-spoon kid, and I've never forgotten where I came from.

My father was a U.S. Army Ranger and a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne. He taught me and my sibling what integrity looks like: serve the people around you, protect the people you love, and stand up for what is right. I try to treat everyone I meet with respect, and I expect the same.

I moved to Denton to study at the University of North Texas, and I came to Fort Worth in 2019. In my senior year, my father died suddenly of a heart attack at 53, and I left school to support myself. I kept working, kept learning, and earned my way forward through certifications, including the CISSP. I've worked in technology for over a decade, including cloud and security work for companies that handle sensitive defense information.

I know a lot of Texans who built good careers without a four-year degree. I want more doors open to people who are skilled through alternative routes, like apprenticeships and technical training.

Solving hard problems is what I do best. I've spent my career as an engineer and solutions architect, untangling complicated systems and finding practical answers. I want to bring that same approach to the challenges Texans face, and to use it for the greater good, not for any one group.

I'm a Christian, and I believe in the principles our Founders built this country on. Outside of work I volunteer with churches and nonprofits in Fort Worth, and I help older Texans learn to spot the scams and tricks that target them online and by phone. I speak for myself, and none of the organizations I volunteer with has endorsed me or my plans. At home, I'm a husband and a father.
